Wolverhampton City Schoolboys Under 13 and 14 Representative Squads for 2008-09
Trial / Training / Practice Session at SMESTOW SCHOOL
Saturday 12th July 2008

Could you please consider the players in your last seasons Year 7 and 8 boy’s football teams and identify perhaps 4 or 5 players to attend a City schools training/practice session.

We would like you to then invite some of them to attend further trials in order to select a side to represent Wolverhampton in an International Tournament to be held in Shrewsbury during August, and for the forthcoming seasons Under 13 (Yr 8) and Under 14 (Yr 9) Wolverhampton squads fixtures that commence in September 2008.

To compete at District level players need to be:
• Athletic – strong, quick
• Good footballers – technically, tactically
• Competitive sports performers

Please nominate, and arrange for your best players to attend these trials at Smestow School, Windmill Crescent, Castlecroft, Wolverhampton WV3 8HU on SATURDAY 12th JULY from 10.00am – 1.00pm.

Could you ensure that players/parents have full details and directions to Smestow School. Players should arrive in suitable kit – shirts, shorts, socks, boots (for grass surface), shin pads – plus sweat top/ bottoms, if necessary, and drinks bottle.

If any boys are unable to attend due to transport problems then we will endeavour to arrange lifts for them.
