Crossflatts started as favorites duly won there first Lge Championship after joining from the now defunct Wharfedale Sunday Lge in 2004.Led by captain Joe Lunn at centre half they became hard to break down a solid midfield and razor sharp attack in all comps they scored over 100 goals,AC Victoria were the only team to beat Flatts and that was in a dead match FC Clothiers came very close leading until the last 15 minutes add to that runners up in the Keighley Didrict Cup and q-final appearance in the WRCFA Sunday Cup a great season for manager Shane Whitford and the team.Rawdon could not match them when it came to the business end of the season a 3-2 defeat in March signalled the end for the champions.Westfield were the suprise of the season they did the double over Rawdon pushed Crossflatts hard in both matches.
Hockney FC made it 2 promotions on the trott a top side they proved far too good for there div 1 opponents, add to that the Wharfedale District Cup and Q-Final appearance in the Sunday Trophy they have had superb season upfront top marksman Tom Greaves scored 60 goals in all comps.Crossflatts Village will join them in the Premier thanks to top goalscorer Declan Corby,veteran Lee Bailey managed the side well in leading them to 2nd place if they are to survive though the Premier Division is a big step up.
Otley Town took the Division 2 title with relative ease with a quick passing game they proved technichly better than the rest of the division. Angel Baildon are runners up thanks to goal machines Andy Radosevic and Nick Warden both should hold there own in Div 1.Rawdon won the PC Sports Lge Cup after defeating Crossflatts 4-3 on pens after a 0-0 draw.Crossflatts Village won the Invitation Cup with a 3-2 win over fellow Division 1 side Keighley Athletic.
