About The GADYFL
The Glasgow and District Youth Football League have been proudly running for the last 7 years. Originally two seperate leagues the GADYFL was formed through the amalgamation of the SAYFL and the SYCA. Since then we are able to boast producing some of the finest teams in Youth Football.
The GADYFL has now evolved to include fun fours and soccer 7s who total to over 150 teams! The creation of this Grassroot section of our league was created not just to encourage children into football, but also to allow for a feedthrough into our 13s division, where they will hopefully stay with us right into their Under 19s years. The Fun Fours and Soccer 7s are now into their fourth year and we are finally beginning to see the success of these teams (created at the very youngest ages) within our older age groups.
Although made up of a very small voluntary committee, each member of the league is dedicated to helping facilitate youths in Scotland into playing football and each of our teams is ran by a dedicated team of volunteer coaches and managers, all with the same goals, allowing for a positive outlet of energy for the youth in Scotland.
