Blind John Allstars Managed by Nick Tilley and Craig Grantham, players from Billingshurst FC and some County League teams, look a good team, sorry Very good team Team most like Chelsea, maybe.
Athletico Big Thursday former Sunday team based in Watersfield have rolled out some big guns for the league this year, a few County League players or of that standard, could be up there Team most like Real Madrid, maybe.
BBH Bears - SCFL County League Broadbridge Heath have entered a team to keep players fit pre-season, picked up a good draw on the first week of summer league football, welcome abroad Team most like Arsenal, maybe.
Beavers Re-united The Beavers are back in the champions league, mixture of ex Billingshurst beavers players reformed like all the good 80/90s acts, did not have a good first week losing to AKA, But they are back for good and they never forget that it only takes a minute and it (or they) could be magic but they need a little patience then they will relight their fire, shine, have found heaven and it will be the greatest day and be up all night, babe, sure. team most like Liverpool, maybe.
The Championship
Cowfold FC Back after last year season competition, apparently not as strong as last year, but still a good team - team most like Preston, maybe.
Broadford Bridge FC A New entry from the WSFL Div 5 team, lost 2-1 first week to Southwater have a Dutch coach - team most like Derby, maybe.
Pulborough FC A Back again this year, this A team look a good outfit this season, some good players there - team most like Bristol City, maybe.
Watersfield FC New entry from Watersfield, however only turned up with 6 players first week, but won as opposition turned up with 0!! - team most like Reading, maybe.
Wisborough Green FC Would love to tell you more about the team, all I know is they will be good and up there when they perform - team most like Crystal Palace, maybe.
Southwater FC B Southwater B team picked up a good win the first week, look an ok outfit from what I saw - team most like Sheff Utd, maybe.
League 1
Pulborough FC B Pulborough look to have two strong teams for its divisions, could be up there at end of competition - team most like Leeds Utd, maybe .
Dorking Jerks Tom Clarkes team, some good players, some interesting players, good and interesting times ahead - team most like Brighton & Hove Albion, maybe.
The Unknowns Last minute team due to drop out, no one knows each other yet, but getting there when they click, click clunk. team most like Bristol Rovers, maybe.
Broadford Bridge FC B Never saw them play this week but they lost to a good Fittleworth outfit - team most like Yeovil, maybe.
Fittleworth FC Great start on first week, but was it a one off, some players have played higher standard summer league previously, they know what is expected on Tuesday nights - team most like Tranmere, maybe.
Barns Green FC - WSFL Div 3 winning team, never saw them play this week, but they beat a team most like Brighton and hove Albion in first week, team most like, Southend maybe.
Wednesday Nights Start 3rd June 2009 run for 5 weeks (possibly 6)
League 1
Billingshurst FC Veterans A team which contain the Billingshurst FC Chairman, Secretary and President plus a few other superstars - team most like Man Utd 1970s, maybe.
AC Bren Stepney and co, Father, Son & Brother and a number of players who used to play with son and brother probably coached by Father if that all make sense - team most like West Ham United late 1990s, maybe.
AJ Walters Works team from AJ Walters Aviation in Partridge Green, company has something like 200 members of staff, must be some good footballers there somewhere - team most like Notts Forest 1970/80s, maybe.
Aspect Team formerly known as the Martins or Hunchenbadback, all pretty much related, somehow, similar team to last year plus one or two new players, boy what players they are - team most like Liverpool 1970s, maybe.
Railway Rovers FC - Billingshurst Pub team, many ex Billinghurst players, some great players, some real drinkers, will have the oldest player in the summer league in Larry the keeper, who was born around the same time Stanley Matthews won the Ballon dOr now known as the European Football of the year - team most like Man Utd 1980s, maybe
Billingshurst Thirds WSFL Div 5 team, Croatian manager who have assembled a good team for this competition. Did well last year on Tuesday nights. team most like Aston Villa early 1990s, maybe
League 2
Plaistow FC WSFL Div 5 team, have some very good players, in keys areas as well, young manager overseen by some old bloke guiding the way, team most like Liverpool mid 1980s, maybe
The Stags Worthing based team organised and managed by school teacher, sometimes play in a kit supplied by Mansfield Town FC, hence name The Stags, team most like Manfield Town FC Early 1970s, maybe
Barns Green OB BGOB are back again, loved it last year, even entered a team on the Tuesday this year, lost to Plaistow first game, will pick up points later - team most like Barns Green late 1990s, maybe
Wisborough Green OB New entry this season, in for a shock first week when ended up playing against a bunch of kids, got a draw, typical Wis Green team, touch tackling, play some nice football, need three chances to score one goal - team most like, any team with Andy Cole in it, ever, maybe.
The Limeburners late, late entry accepted as another team let us down, however warning young kids, well 16 years old, not played much except for Southwater 3rds, but with some exceptionally good youngsters, exceptionally good. team most like Leeds early 1990s, maybe
Ibstock The Brickmakers are back and loving it, they even scored in the first week, not expected to win the league or even a game, but the goal celebrations should be worth the wait, team most like QPR, maybe.
