Sunday Central AFL - How it all began...
The Glasgow Sunday AFL, once one of the most respected Sunday Amateur Football leagues in Scotland - Overseen by SAFA Junior Vice President Alex McDowall. With the committee providing an extremely organised, well run and competitive league it wasnt long before interest reached further than ever before. It soon became obvious that it was no longer confined to Glasgow, but much of the central/west region of Scotland. With this in mind a name change was proposed and in June of 2010 the SUNDAY CENTRAL AFL was born.
