SOUTH ESSEX SUNDAY FOOTBALL LEAGUE

Welcome to the official website of the South Essex Sunday Football League. Formed in 1960 we are the longest established Sunday football league in Essex. We currently have 33 teams playing in 3 divisions.

The league prides itself on the quality of its football clubs, its referee coverage as well as the great sportsmanship of its teams. In last season's Essex County FA Fair Play Awards one of our teams was runner up in the Sunday Open Age Football category, and another was Highly Commended. We are the only Sunday competition in south Essex to have received any honours in these awards
