In season 2008/09 we had 71 clubs registered with the league, totaling 237 teams spread across five age groups, amongst twenty-seven divisions.
This season is arguably one of the best seasons the league has had in recent seasons with six out of ten Tyro League teams competing in the Hampshire Cup final. Out of those six teams, three of them had lifted the Hampshire Cup winning their respective games:
-Pace Youth Under 11s lost 1-0 against Aldershot in the final.
-Pace Youth Under 12s. lost on penalties against Wimbledon Park Tigers in the final.
-Pace Youth Under 13s beat Wimbledon Park Tigers 3-2 in the final.
-Pace Youth Under 14s beat Winchester Juniors 4-1 in the final.
-Oakwood Youth Under 15s beat Aldershot Town 3-1 in the final.
