SAFA A.G.M.

You will shortly receive information regarding the Scottish Amateur Football Association Annual General Meeting.

This is being held in Hampden Park on Saturday 9th. June 2012.

I have been advised that there will be an attempt by an Association to get a majority of their clubs onto various committees and a significant change could affect the Association.

One proposal being considered by the Association trying to take over is the establishment of a player registration charge of £20 per player. This could cost each club a minimum of £400 if they register 20 players.

It is in the interest of the Stirling & District A. F.A. To get as many clubs to attend the AGM as possible in order to defeat this move.

Can you please advise me if a member of your club will be attending the AGM as it is imperative that we protect what we have.
