The Beginning...
SA Masters Soccer (SAMS) commenced from humble beginnings in 1982 to meet the growing needs of amateur players who wanted to continue to pursue their passion for and participate in this wonderful world game of soccer, albeit at a less competitive level.
Humble Beginnings
It was the brainchild of Tony Winefield (Patron and Life Member) and a number of equally passionate and loyal supporters and contribuors to the League's evolution.
From it's somewhat humble beginnings the league now boasts participation by 20 teams represented by approximately 320 players and divided into two divisions.
