E.A.S.I Cup Birmingham (European Association For Sport And Social Integration)

2 Day Football Tournament

P.M.A London Become european champions for the second year running

This year the E.A.S.I cup was held at Morsley Ruby Club in Birmingham
it was held over a 3 day period.

there was 28 teams from around Europe involved in this years E.a.s.i cup

It was a 5 a-side tournament each match lasting 12 mins one way

made up of 3 groups out of the 28 teams

The Mayor of Birmingham was there to open the ceremony and get the tournament under way

Day 1
P.M.A London got off to a flying start wininng there first 4 games and drawing one,

Day 2
P.M.A London Started day 2 by winning there first game then went on to win all there games to get into the Semi Final

P.M.A London was 1-0 up in the Semi-final when disaster struck, one of there top notch defenders got injured (David Smith) trying to stop the holders from scoring which he did at a cost but the game had to be stoppped for the ambalance to come so he could be carted off. The holders where abit inpatient to start up so they continued on a next pitch.

Could the team do David proud by beating the holders and getting into the final could they do it yes they could they won the game a covincing 4-1 to knock out the holders and get themselves into the final.

it was good news from the hospital regarding the injured player his collar bone was not fractured but just got some ligament damage for his troubles.
