Greetings from the Chairman July 2009 A new season will shortly arrive and may I extend a very warm welcome to all of our new Clubs and wish them every success in the forthcoming season. I sincerely hope that you enjoy your games in the League and make progress as a new Club. May I remind all Clubs that football is a game for sport to be enjoyed and ask you all to show respect to one another(this including the referee) either in victory or defeat – this is most important. Discipline is paramount in any sport and I hope that you all endeavour to play the game in the proper manner – by doing this I am quite sure that it will help encourage more referees to turn out on a Sunday Combination fixture – this ideal is in your own hands. Your hard working Officers and any Management Committee member are always willing to offer help and guidance if need be to help the smooth running of both your Club and League. And,of course,your ‘Full Time’ General Secretary/Administrator is always on hand every day for an instant decision or help.
