Leeds Sunday Alliance became in 2006 the new league for players wishing to enjoy playing against teams who all had the same goal. To play good football with referees and to leave the cloggers behind. It was formed after the demise of the Works Inc Dot Com League. Pat Cunningham with the help of Tony Haney and a few more people formed a league and set about recruiting teams. The first season started with 24 teams competing in two divisions. More people joined the Committee and Leeds Sunday Alliance League began. The first season was without hiccups but everyone pulled together and competed in a great inaugreal season.
