This has caused some lively debate already, which is always a good thing! So, just to clarify the league rules:

U6s (4v4) - "Fly" goalkeeper can kick from hands. Whether they do or not is a team decision, but this will be accepted within the game (this rule is designed to allow beginner teams to adapt to their surroundings with freedom as they head towards their first "full season").

U7s (4v4) - For U7s teams (who will be heading into U8s in just a few months time) we wish to promote keeping the ball on the floor to encourage passing, skill and decision making, so "fly" goalkeepers will be restricted to under arm throws or kicking from the floor.

U8s & U9s (4v4+GK)  Goalkeepers will not be allowed to leave their penalty area and are not permitted to kick the ball out of their hands. They can kick the ball from the floor.
