East Lothian Soccer Sevens Development Association
• To provide the opportunity for boys & girls, at the under 9’s, 10’s, 11’s & 12’s age groups, to play the small-sided game of football in a relaxed and enjoyable environment. From 2008, age group under 9 and below shall play 4v4 development games using guidelines provided by the Scottish Football Association (SFA).
• To teach the game in a coherent, tolerant and organised manner.
• To develop the skills of all-participating players & officials.
• To develop the fitness of all participating players
• To provide a positive, non-competitive environment to play developmental football.
• To provide as and when required, educational courses covering football development, drug awareness, dietary requirements, first aid and any other relevant education for all participating players and officials.
• To promote sportsmanship and fair play in young players, officials and parents irrespective of gender, race, religion or social status.
