It is with great sadness that I let you know that Mary passed away on Thursday 17th February.

Mary had been poorly for a while and was admitted to St. Wilfred's Hospice the week before.

Mary was a great ambassador for sport, particularly netball, and gave her time so freely to the young players in Eastbourne, and as an umpire for us in the Eastbourne League. She always supported our charity tournaments and our fund raising events

Some of us will also remember playing with, or against Mary, in the old Eastbourne Saturday league

Mary's funeral will take place on Friday 4th March, 3.15 at Eastbourne Crematorium.

Anyone who wishes to attend may do so

Family flowers only but any donations can be given to Haines Funeral Director, South Street, Eastbourne

Donations will be sent to MacMillan Cancer Care, a charity which is close to our hearts in the Eastbourne Netball League. Please let them know donations from -------team in Eastbourne Netball Legaue
