This game was everthing you would expect from a local derby, with clashes all over the pitch early on.
It was Garvagh who looked like after the early exchenges, and score and they did with Mullan getting a hat-trick and Workman and Patterson gettin one apiece before half time to make it 5-0.
Garvagh slackened off in the second half and the Aghadowey scored two before Patterson turned Reid and scored a screamer to increase Garvagh’s advantage.
McGothican added another to restore a five goal gap as the game petered out to a final score 7-2 to Garvagh, a result which gives the Clyde Park men bragging rights for now.
