Facilities
Bolton Arena has four five-a-side pitches, a seven-a-side pitch and a larger floodlit multi-use games area (MUGA). All pitches are outdoors, floodlit and have the 3rd generation synthetic surface replicating the playing conditions of real grass. There is a floodlit full size grass pitch, where Horwich Victoria FC & Aspull play their home matches. In addition, we host two of our very own 11-a-side leagues whereby teams play every 5-6 weeks thus elimanting the week-to-week stress of finding 15 players. There is a 400metre running track with 6/8 lane straights, along with associated field events and terraced seating for spectators. The track has become home to Horwich & Chorley Harriers Athletics Club and offers the ideal setting for school sports days, personal training and competition training.

Football leagues
Over 4,000 players and 200 teams play in leagues and tournaments at Bolton Arena every week. There are leagues running six nights a week, with five-a-side, six-a-side, seven-a-side, adult, junior and ladies' leagues available. The leagues are professionally managed, extremely well-disciplined & offer various divisions so whatever your standard there's a league for you. Matches are 50 minutes (25 minutes each way).
